How government contracting works in the United States

Federal agencies publish contract opportunities on SAM.gov, the official U.S. government system run by the General Services Administration (GSA). SAM.gov is also where a business registers as an entity and gets a Unique Entity ID (UEI), the starting point for doing business with the federal government.

Federal purchases follow the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), published on Acquisition.gov. On top of that, every solicitation sets out its own scope, requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines and instructions for responding, so the documents themselves are where the real work starts.

States, counties and cities buy through their own procurement systems and rules. LicitaMax's planned U.S. coverage starts with the federal opportunities published on SAM.gov.

What LicitaMax will do for U.S. contractors

LicitaMax is software for companies that sell to government. It collects opportunities from official sources, lets you filter by keyword, agency, place of performance, response date and value in U.S. dollars when the agency discloses it, and reads the solicitation and its attachments with AI, so you can ask questions and see the exact passage behind every answer.

Before you commit, it turns the requirements into an eligibility checklist and helps you organize your bid: documents, pricing and deadlines, with your whole team working from one pipeline. You always submit your offer yourself, through the channel the solicitation specifies.

  • Opportunity search

Search and filter federal contract opportunities by keyword, agency, place of performance and response date, plus value in U.S. dollars when it is published.

  • Alerts

Save a search and get an email when a new opportunity matches it, so you don't have to check the portal every day.

  • AI reading with citations

Ask questions about a solicitation and its attachments. Every answer points to the document and passage it came from, so you can check it yourself.

  • Eligibility checklist

Turn requirements such as an active SAM.gov registration, certifications and past performance into a checklist, and see what's still missing before you bid.

  • Bid preparation

Organize documents, pricing and deadlines for every bid. LicitaMax never submits anything: you send your offer through the channel the solicitation specifies.

  • Pipeline (CRM)

Track every opportunity from first look to award in a shared pipeline, with owners, notes and due dates for your team.

Where things stand today

U.S. coverage is not live yet. This page doesn't list any opportunities, and we won't put sample or made-up data in their place. There is no launch date yet, and we'd rather tell you when it's ready than guess.

LicitaMax is a private product. It is not a government agency or an official platform, and it has no affiliation with SAM.gov, GSA or any federal agency. It does not guarantee eligibility or awards, and AI answers are a reading aid, not legal advice.
